The Flying Robot School have formed an exciting collaborative partnership with Ecolinc for 2019.
The team recently engaged students in a full day activity gathering baseline data on platypus habitat along the Werribee River. The habitat will be monitored during four such explorations each year.
After mastering safety and control basics using the Ecolinc Learn onLine LMS, and a computer simulation, students got hands-on with some powerful drones. A challenging training course was marked out for each student to conquer. Students explored the potential of drones to solve global environmental issues. Each student participated in an environmental monitoring excursion.
The Flying Robot School team consists of individuals working in a range of supportive digital technology industries. They share a vision for empowering youth to make a difference to issues of global significance through the use of technology.
