Today we were super excited to have our first special events linked to Denali National Park in Alaska to hear from Ranger Jan how the sled dogs have special adaptations that allow them to survive the frozen environmental landscape. These included their fur, paws, tail wrapping and attitudes to running and pulling. We were introduced to ‘Cupcake’ and taken on a virtual sled ride dodging branches and obstacles.
